LeEco is a Chinese multinational corporation founded by Jia Yueting, a self-made multibillionaire. The organization maintains ventures in consumer electronics, cars, bicycles, mobile phones, televisions, film productions, and virtual reality. The holding company of the group is known as Leshi Holding (Beijing) Co., Ltd.
LeEco (formerly Letv) premiered its new brand and logo. The organization has officially rebranded itself from Letv to LeEco in January 2017. This indicates that LeEco has fully grown from a video website back in 2004 into a full-featured "eco world".
The term "eco" is a bit confusing because it sounds like eco-friendly. But what they mean is that they focus on different product groups which together build an ecosystem. They designed their so-called ecophones, with all the information they know about developing smartphones (and other products) and made them leaner, faster, and more powerful.
