We took the challenge to find a cheap working headphone. During our search on different web shops, we bought the Bluedio T2 and the Superlux HD668D since they had excellent reviews on different sites and they both are below $50 dollars. We ordered the Superlux HD668D on Gearbest and the Bluedio T2 on Banggood.
We compared the both Headphones on different specification: Sound Quality, Connectivity, Design, Battery Life, and Availability. The Superlux HD66D we bought on Gearbest for $27.99, it arrived approximately ten working business days after ordering. The package was fully equipped with 1 x Headphones, 1 x 1m Cable, 1 x 3m Cable, 1 x 6.5mm Interface Connector, 1 x Cable Clamp, 1 x Storage Bag, 1 x User Manual. The Bluedio Headphone we bought at Banggood.com for $35.44, it arrived with Priority Direct Mail within seven business days, and the product contained: 1x Bluetooth Headphone, 1x Audio to Audio cable, 1 x USB Charging Cable, 1 x User Manual.

The first impression of this headphone is that it looks a little cheap. They made it from mainly PU leather, plastic and some aluminum. The over-ear headphone is light weighted, which is comfortable.
The Bluedio T2 will quickly connect with any Bluetooth device (through Bluetooth 4.1). I tested it with my Xiaomi Redmi Note 2, iPhone 5, and the Ipad Mini, the connection worked smoothly, and you don’t need the user manual to understand how you should connect your device with the headphone.
A significant advantage of this Bluetooth headphone is the Audio to Audio cable which allows you to listen to music without charging the headphone. The Bluetooth distance is approximately 12 meters with free space and 5 meters through one wall.
The Sound Quality is great unless you are using the headphone on maximum volume. Which is, of course, thunderous, will give a buzzing noise in the bass. There is a built-in microphone which allows you for answering phone calls. This feature works excellent unless there is a little wind or during cycling. The over-ear headphone has a Sensitivity of 110dB and a frequency response from 20Hz- 20KHz. I’m using this headphone for two weeks, and the Bluetooth is still operating fluently. Bluedio says that the Bluedio T2 has a Standby time up to 1625 hours, a talk time up to 45 hours and a music playtime up to 40 hours. Fully charge the headphone will take approximately 2 hours.

Superlux HD668B Studio Headphone

- Noise Cancelling
- Connectivity : Wired
- Plug Type: 3.5mm,Full-sized
- Sound Channel: Two-channel (stereo)
- Frequency response: 10Hz-30KHz
The Superlux HD668B has a lot of similarities with the AKG K240. The design looks a little bit like a Helicopter Headset without the microphone. The earcups made from PU Leather feel and appear a bit cheap. The headphone fits perfectly, and I can keep it easily on for a few hours before having troubles. The built quality is solid, and the only weak spots are the earcups.
The Sound Quality surpassed my expectations! The sound was immediately incredible, and the music was very pure. The tone was well balanced, and during phone calls (there is no microphone included) The voice was amazing pure as well. The sound quality is the biggest advantage of this headphone. There is a deep bass present, which is just perfect and certainly not dominant. The sound isolation does its job. If I set the volume deafening, other passengers in the tube will not notice the music at all.
Superlux is a company that manufactures components for the audio industry, their headquarter locates in Taiwan. Superlux makes a lot of different microphones and headphones and has some real qualitative products. You can buy their devices at Dealsmachine, Banggood, Gearbest, Tinydeal, or Fasttech.
Because there are numberless different headphones, you should always have a look at other ones. Choosing between Superlux HD668D and the Bluedio T2 is very easy, but depends on what you would like to have. If you don’t bother a wired headphone and would like having superb sound, then you should buy the Superlux HD668D. It’s the cheapest one, and it will give you the best sound quality. If you would like to use the desired headphone frequently for making phone calls and prefer the Bluetooth connection you should buy the Bluedio T2. Which of the two is more sustainable? I don’t have an answer for that question yet because I have them for one month. My girlfriend uses the Bluedio T2, and she loves it! I’m using the Superlux, and I’m very satisfied. Overall they are both great budget headphones with their specific advantages.
